What you should know before renting
At Car Rental 001 Olomouc we focus on clear and fair rental terms. If you have any questions, contact us by phone or WhatsApp.
Minimum driver age: 21+ years, driving licence category B for at least 2 years.
Rental period: minimum 4 days (longer rentals: discounted rates).
Documents: valid driving licence + national ID card/passport.
Deposit: refundable deposit 10,000 CZK (cash). In case of a traffic offence procedure it may be held for up to 13 months (limitation period 12+1).
Insurance: mandatory liability + collision insurance. Deductible 10,000 CZK (unless extra cover is purchased).
Fuel: return with the same fuel level, otherwise a refuelling fee applies.
Pickup / return: Olomouc – Jeremenkova (near the main post office), or Prostějov / Holice by agreement.
Condition on return: washed (brush car wash) + vacuumed, otherwise a cleaning fee applies.
Prohibited: smoking, transporting animals, taxi service, racing, handing the car over to another person.
Speed: according to regulations, max. 130 km/h.
Travel abroad: outside the Czech Republic only with prior written agreement.
Early return: the remaining prepaid rental fee is non-refundable.
Important notice: In case of breach of terms (e.g. alcohol, severe violation of regulations, smoking in the vehicle) the contract may be terminated and the deposit may be withheld.
