Quick answers before you book.
What is the minimum driver age and required experience?
The driver must be over 21 years old and hold a category B driving licence for at least 2 years.
What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is 4 days.
Which documents do I need to rent a car?
A valid driving licence and an ID card (or passport).
How much is the deposit and how is it returned?
For most vehicles, the refundable deposit is 10,000 CZK, paid in cash and returned after the vehicle is returned undamaged. In case of a breach of terms, it may be withheld for up to 13 months.
What insurance is included and what is the excess?
All vehicles include mandatory liability insurance and comprehensive insurance. In most cases, the excess in case of damage is 10,000 CZK unless agreed otherwise.
How should I return the vehicle regarding fuel?
Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup.
Where can I pick up and return the vehicle?
Standard pickup/return is in Olomouc, Jeremenkova (near the main post office). By agreement, pickup/return can be arranged in other locations as well.
In what condition should the vehicle be returned?
The vehicle must be returned clean – washed in a brush car wash and vacuumed.
What is prohibited when using the vehicle?
Smoking, transporting animals, using the vehicle as a taxi, racing, and lending the vehicle to another person.
Can I travel abroad with the vehicle?
Travel outside the Czech Republic is possible only with prior written agreement with the rental company.
